What we've done lately

Till now it's been mainly a lot of
contemplation, hand-shaking and
talk. Now we're ready for action.

THE truth is that we're just getting started as a movement. It's been a long period of gestation. We have spent years trying to understand the overall situation in Israel, and wondering how best we can help strengthen the spirit of Israeli society, and promote the ideals of integrity, cooperation, personal responsibility − ideals which we believe to be vital for the welfare and survival of the State of Israel.

While not particularly fruitful from a practical point of view − up to this point in time − all this preliminary activity has involved numerous talks with people and organizations as well as correspondence, letter-writing and articles for newspapers. Our latest activity has been the creation of this website, which is still being worked on.

Now being planned and set up

On a practical level here are some of the things that we have done so far:

• We have given a number of talks to schools on the connection between integrity and being an Israeli. We hope to be able to give these talks on a regular basis throughout the country in the future.
• We have set up a pool of over 50 volunteers to tutor pupils in need of private tuition. Click here for more information
• We have sent letters and articles for publication in newspapers.

Granted all this is not a hell of a lot, but it's a beginning. All the following activities are also being planned and developed:

• Expanding the scope of talks to schools and other venues such as government offices, clubs as well as talks in private homes to small groups.
• Printing material to be widely distributed − cards, leaflets, brochures and posters.
• A determined drive to attract many more people to join our efforts. The ultimate aim is to have the whole nation subscribe to the ideals expressed here − without even realizing that they are part of a movement.
• Continuing with the development of this website.
